Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A.

Established in August 2002 is currently the largest in Poland and eight largest sugar beet grower in Europe. Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. share in Polish market is over 40%, and is one of the top hundred companies in Poland. Since 30 September 2003, KSC S.A. has been a uniform Polish consortium gathering together seven sugar manufacturing companies. KSC S.A. subsidiaries are companies with extensive experience on the market. Located around five provinces, the companies process over 5 million tonnes sugar beet grown on over 77 thousand hectares and supplied by over 16 thousand growers.

The manufactured sugar conforms to European standards and is purchased both by renown Polish and international companies. Since the very beginning, KSC S.A. has attempted to achieve the highest quality standards and competitive position against its foreign rivals.

In 2003 the company started a deep reorganization to reduce costs, improve profitability and concentrate production in the largest and most efficient plants.
