Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A.

Established in August 2002 is currently the largest in Poland and eight largest sugar beet grower in Europe. Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. share in Polish market is over 40%, and is one of the top hundred companies in Poland. Since 30 September 2003, KSC S.A. has been a uniform Polish consortium gathering together seven sugar manufacturing companies. KSC S.A. subsidiaries are companies with extensive experience on the market. Located around five provinces, the companies process over 5 million tonnes sugar beet grown on over 77 thousand hectares and supplied by over 16 thousand growers.

The group also includes a fruit and vegetables processing plant, “Polskie Przetwory”, with its registered office in Włocławek. The main line of business of Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. is production and sales of sugar, sales of side-products of its production process, and fruit and vegetable processing. The company offers comprehensive management of external companies archives in terms of storage, archiving and disposal of documents, as well as other services. The KSC S.A. Archiving Centre in Płock guarantees professional services concerning management of a company archive, open to individual needs of our customers.

From the very beginning, Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. undertakes efforts aiming at achieving high quality standards and competitive position versus foreign companies. For this reason, a process of thorough restructuring was initiated in 2003, aiming at cost reduction, improvement in profitability and concentrating production at the largest and strongest plants.
